An integral part of Houston Arts Partners is the presentation of an Annual Conference, creating a platform where artists and arts organizations convene with the educational community to support and respond to changing short and long term curriculum and overall school needs, artist training, professional development, presentation of best practices in arts integration, collaborative opportunities, use of curriculum guides, the arts partners web/scheduling system, educational research, and the efficient exchange of information. The goal of the Conference is an improved quality and deepening of relationships where supportive collaboration will emerge, enhancing the creativity, learning, innovation, and life skills of students.
Houston Arts Partners; Arts 4 All will present its first conference, Shaping the Future of Education & Creating 21st Century Leaders, on September 13, 2011 at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston as part of National Arts In Education Week. The conference will bring together a diverse representation of 300 educators, administrators, researchers, and teaching artists for an inspiring and revealing hands-on experience in today’s best practices in arts integrated science, math, english and social studies curriculum.

Statement of Purpose:The goal of Houston Arts Partners; Arts 4 All, is the successful development, implementation and management of a centralized arts programming and support services website specifically designed to more efficiently and effectively match educational needs of Houston Area Schools and School District’s with the resources and capabilities of Houston’s premiere artists and arts organizations.In achieving this goal, Houston Arts Partners: Arts 4 All, will be capable of providing equitable access to quality arts education and enrichment for all students and teachers in the 53 Houston area Independent School Districts.
